Lo único que ha faltado es un desfile por el Mall al estilo de los festejos del 1° de Mayo en los estados soviéticos, con sus correspondientes T72, cohetes Katyusha, lanzadores de misiles, banderas rojas y Owen Jones liderando a las tropas que marchan a paso de gans al son del Coro del Ejército Rojo.
Esto no trata de la Salud y nunca se trató de la Salud. Esto es sobre el triunfalismo de la izquierda.
Si el SNS (NHS) se tratara realmente de hacer que la gente esté mejor, nunca se hubiera diseñado de la manera que se hizo y, ciertamente, hubiera sido desmantelado años atrás. No, el SNS (NHS) es un respirador artificial para preservar una ideología soviética largamente desacreditada de control estatal sobre los individuos, el igualitarismo impuesto, y la miseria comunitaria.
Lo más pronto que el respirador artificial sea desconectado, antes el resto de nosotros tendremos una chance de comenzar a recuperarnos de este Horror Show de 70 años de edad.
Seguro que hay muchas otras razones adicionales por las cuales el SNS (NHS) debe morir: que mata a miles de sus pacientes, que deja a miles más en la más abyecta desdicha y miseria, derrocha inimaginables millonadas de dinero, es un criadero de ineficiencia, encubre la negligencia y la incompetencia y tienen uno de los peores servicios de salud del mundo civilizado.
Pero lo peor, por lejos, del SNS (NHS), peor aún que lo listado arriba, es esto: es el Caballo de Troya de los socialistas que van a impedir por siempre el paso de una Gran Bretaña que tiene posibilidades de evolucionar a una economía de libre mercado próspera y avanzada.
Mientras que el SNS (NHS) exista, Gran Bretaña quedará estancada en la oscura mentalidad de postguerra, con su austeridad, racionamiento, culto al valor del empleo y su manía por el mínimo común denominador. Y se quedará estancada ahí por decisión y voluntad.
Esto es porque fue creada por comunistas que han viajado, con su ojo puesto en el deslumbrante ejemplo ofrecido por la Unión Soviética de Stalin y ha sido promulgada como una manifestación de los valores socialistas.
No es ninguna coincidencia que la única área donde el SNS (NHS) mide bien en las tablas internacionales es en el rubro "equidad en los tratamientos": si uno es rico o es pobre, recibe el mismo plato de guiso inmundo.
Lo que, por supuesto, es la esencia de la visión del mundo socialista. No importa si el servicio es una mierda, mientras ninguna persona reciba ni un poco menos de mierda que el resto.
O, como Churchill lo expuso con más elocuencia, "El socialismo es una filosofía del fracaso, el credo de la ignorancia y el cántico de la envidia, su virtud inherente es compartir la miseria e infelicidad con ecuanimidad".
Tal cual, y éste es el punto. El SNS (NHS) siempre va a ser sub-standard, no importa cuánto más dinero de los contribuyentes se desperdicie en él. Eso es porque en el modelo económico socialista sobre el cual está construido, el desperdicio, la ineficiencia y los bajos estándares perpetuos no son errores del sistema sino parte de su estructura intrínseca.

¡Y qué propaganda!
Considere la frase que nadie usa excepto los defensores del SNS (NHS) a la que le dan copioso tiempo en el aire en la BBC "La Envidia del Mundo".
Es un desvergozado travestismo de la verdad, que va cabeza a cabeza con "La Religión de la Paz" (**).
O si no fíjense cómo la peor clase de político cínico, cuando en estos días se refiere regularmente al SNS (NHS), lo nombra como "nuestro NHS". como si fuera una cosa preciosa, tan inasiblemente perfecto que meramente el enunciar esas mágicas tres letras fuera como llevar a nuestro tierno pecho la verdadera esencia de los cariñosos, compasivos, altruistas y modernos valores Británicos modernos.
Ése fue el punto que quiso resaltar Danny Boyle en la Ceremonia de Apertura de los Juegos Olímpicos de Londres, otro acto político del socialismo laboralista enmascarado como una alegre deformación y trituración de los hitos históricos británicos. Excepto que todos esos hitos históricos fueron redefinidos por un profesor de sociología zurdo que se formó en un politécnico: la Revolución Industrial - oscura, satánica y con chimeneas de las fábricas - y el SNS (NHS) - Dios bendiga a Mary Poppins y todos esos alegres duendes saltando en todas esas camas vacías cubiertas por limpias sábanas, que supuestamente tanto abundan en el SNS (NHS)...
Esto no sólo es mendaz. También es siniestro. Verdaderamente. Concedo que representa la mayor victoria de la izquerda sobre la cultura británica - la manera en que exitosamente creó un entorno en el cual nadie, ya sea una víctima de sus espantosos tratamientos, sea un analista de un bien informado think tank, sea un honesto político reformista, pueda elevar ni el más mero criticismo sobre el SNS (NHS) sin ser salvaje y desconsideradamente tratado como un indiferente, ignorante, malintencionado y antibritánico monstruo.
Miren lo que le pasó a Kate Andrews del Intituto de Asuntos Económicos (Institute of Economic Affairs -IEA) cuando, con bravura, apareció en varios debates en TV para hablar de sus investigaciones que muestran el pobre desempeño del SNS (NHS) en relación con otros sistemas de salud del primer mundo.
"El Servicio Naciona de Salud es un año más viejo, pero no más sabio. Seamos honestos sobre los fracasos del SNS (NHS) ahora, mientras todavía tengamos tiempo de arreglarlo" - @iealondon responde a #NHS70
Por esto ella fue horriblemente interpretada, no sólo por los habituales trolles de la izquierda, sino también por gente que debería saber más, como por ejemplo, Paul Mason, ex Editor de Economía de la BBC.

Gracias BBC por gastar dinero público para que una ideóloga de la derecha que proviene de un think-tank de oscura financiación pueda pedir públicamente la destrucción del sistema de salud. Es un tema habitual en mi pub favorito, realmente refleja la opinión del público... ¿Qué viene ahora? ¿Milo?
En este clima de terror, no sorprende que aún el más robusto representante liberal conservador clásico - aún el gran Jacob Rees-Mogg mismo - no se sienta capaz de aventurar ninguna crítica constructiva sobre esta institución quebrada.
Pero deberían, porque al no hacerlo traicionan no sólo los principios del conservadurismo sino a todas esas personas que han de ver sus vidas acortadas o su salud dañada o su dinero derrochado por un sistema que simplemente no está a la altura de proveer servicios de salud a la gente que lo necesita en el SXXI.
Quiero ser claro y honesto con esto. El SNS (NHS) no sólo es de segunda clase. Es el Mal.
No digo que sus intenciones no sean buenas (el camino del infierno...y todo eso). Pero el producto es a menudo concienzudamente maligno - no sólo por lo que hace a sus pacientes pero más en general, por el daño que crea al nivel del debate político, a la causa de la libertad de expresión y más que nada, al futuro de Gran Bretaña como una nación próspera y libre, sin los grilletes del socialismo.
La creación del SNS (NHS) en 1948 no es algo que deberíamos estar celebrando. Fue una implacable toma de posesión socialista.

Delingpole: The NHS Is 70. Time to Put It out of Its Misery
Britain has been celebrating the 70th birthday of the National Health Service (NHS) with services in Westminster Abbey, a specially commissioned symphony, eulogies from government ministers, and endless hagiographies on the BBC.
All that was missing was a May-Day-style parade down the Mall featuring T72s, Katyusha rockets, missile launchers, red flags, and Owen Jones leading the goose-stepping marchers of the Red Army Choir.
This isn’t about health and it never was about health. This is about left-wing triumphalism.
If the NHS was really about making people better it would never have been set up the way it was and would certainly have been dismantled many years ago. No, the NHS is just a life support machine for preserving the long discredited Soviet-era ideology of state control, enforced egalitarianism, communal misery.
The sooner that life support machine is turned off, the sooner the rest of us stand a chance of making a swift recovery from this 70-year-old horror show.
Sure there are many other good reasons why the NHS must die: that it kills thousands of its patients, leaves many thousands more in abject squalor and misery, wastes stupendous quantities of money, breeds inefficiency, covers up negligence and incompetence, and has some of the worst outcomes for serious health conditions anywhere in the civilised world.
But by far the worst thing about the NHS — bad though all the above things are — is this: it is the socialist Trojan Horse which will forever stand in the way of Britain’s chances of evolving into an advanced, prosperous, free market economy.
So long as the NHS exists, Britain will remain stuck in the dark, post-war Austerity-era mentality of rationing, jobsworthery, and the lowest common denominator. And stuck there by design.
That’s because it was created by Communist fellow-travellers (with half an eye on the shining example offered by Stalin’s Soviet Union) for the promulgation and entrenchment of socialistic values.
It’s no coincidence that about the only area the NHS performs well in international league tables is in equity of treatment: whether you’re rich or poor you get the same bowl of gruel.
Which of course is the essence of the socialistic worldview. Never mind if the service is shit, just so long as no one gets a slightly less shit deal than everyone else.
Or, as Churchill more eloquently put it – “Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.”
Indeed, and this is the point. The NHS will always be sub-standard, no matter how much more taxpayers’ money gets squandered on it. That’s because in the socialistic economic model on which it is built, waste, inefficiency, and perpetually low standards are not bugs but features.
There is no need to rehearse here all the horror stories that illustrate why the NHS has been so disastrous for healthcare in Britain. As shameless inversions of the truth go, that one is right up there with “Religion of Peace”.Or look at how the worst, most cynical kind of politician now regularly refers to the NHS as “our NHS”, as if it were a thing so precious, so unassailably perfect that merely to utter those magic three letters is to be clutching to one’s tender bosom the very essence of caring, cuddly, altruistic, modern British values.

That was the point of Danny Boyle’s London Olympics opening ceremony, another party political broadcast on behalf of Labour’s socialists masquerading as a cheery mash-up of Britain’s key historical moments. Except they were all key historical moments as redefined by a left-wing sociology professor at a former polytechnic: Industrial Revolution – dark, satanic and mill-y; NHS – gor bless you Mary Poppins and all those cheery urchins bouncing up and down on all those empty, clean, free beds with which the NHS so famously abounds…
This isn’t just mendacious. It’s also very sinister. Indeed, I’d argue that it represents the left’s single greatest victory over British culture — the way that it has successfully created an environment in which no one, be they a victim of appalling treatment, be they a well-informed think-tank analyst, be they an honest, reforming politician, is allowed to make even the slightest criticism of the NHS without being savaged as an uncaring, ignorant, peevish, unBritish monster.
Look at what happened to Kate Andrews of the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) when, gamely and bravely, she appeared in several TV debates, to talk about the research showing the NHS’s poor performance relative to other first world healthcare systems.

In this climate of terror, it’s hardly any wonder that even the most robustly classical liberal Conservative MPs — even the great Jacob Rees-Mogg himself — feel unable to venture any constructive criticism of this broken institution.
But they should, for by failing to do so they are betraying not just the principles of conservatism but also all those people who are going to have their lives shortened or their health impaired or their money wasted by a system which simply isn’t up to the job of providing the healthcare people need in the 21st century.
We need to be clear and honest on this. The NHS is not just second-rate. It is evil.
I’m not saying its intentions aren’t good (the road to hell, and all that). But the outcome is often thoroughly malign – not just in what it does to patients but, more generally, to the level of political debate, the cause of free speech and, ultimately, Britain’s future as a free, prosperous nation unencumbered by the shackles of socialism.
